Victoria Bechkam’s latest show at New York fashion week was one of the hottest tickets in town, cementing Posh’s fashion cred. I’ve been a fan of her previous collections but have to admit this latest offering from VB is really gorgeous and I feel her best to date.
Presented in an Upper East Side townhouse, her fifth collection to date, she manages to continue to really impress and progress her designs. Containing a total of 26 elegant, desirable dresses, all in all it’s very slick. Quite simple and elegant with fluid shapes and fabrics, it really complements a woman’s figure and shape. Using mainly block colours, from black, white and nude to tangerine and purple shades, the majority of the items are very wearable and I’ve no doubt will continue to be a big seller.
For the first time, the label will also include handbags this season, with a starting price of £1,200. Beckham has collaborated with Katie Hillier, creator of many “It” bags during nearly a decade working with Marc Jacobs.
Definitely worth keeping an eye out in Brown Thomas for the collection to land!
