Film Buffs were out in force for The Irish Premiere Screening of new movie Thor at Cineworld in Dublin. Based on the comic book character of the same name published by Marvel Comics, Thor has been billed as the superhero film of 2011.
The film stars a host of well known faces including Natalie Portman, Rene Russo, Anthony Hopkins and Hollywood newcomer Chris Hemsworth (remember Kim from Home & Away?!).
Stepping out for the first screening were Caroline Downey and her son Jett, Paramount’s Anna Lavery, RTE’s Audrey McGrath, Virginia Macari, man about town Norman Pratt, L’Oreal Luxury Ireland’s PR Manager Roisin Tierney-Crowe and Mr World Kamal Ibrahim.
