I’m a big fan of Penneys, they are hard to beat for a quick fashion fix. When I heard their new and exclusive Limited Edition collection is due to arrive in-store mid this month naturally I was quite excited. This seasons Limited Edition collection is for a girl with a hint of scandal and sweetness in her eye when she meets the world. Sophisticated in spirit, yet playful and youthful. It’s a capsule collection that exudes energy, timelessness and effortless chic. The first of these pieces have landed in stores and are available for a limited time only. The best part, prices range between only €13 to €25.

New Look have once again enlisting the help of the gorgeous Kelly Brook, designing a capsule collection of dresses that are glamorous, sophisticated and red-carpet ready. All of course in the nick of time for the upcoming party season.

It’s great to see women like Kelly, famed for her fifties silhouette and enviable curves, being used by the big players on the highstreet. In the images Kelly is styled with a 40’s twist, glossy, curled hair swept seductively to the side, epitomising the ‘screen siren’ with an air of old-school glamour. The dresses are all quite different – from low backs, plunging v neck-lines and thigh skimming hems to midi lengths, maxi dresses and cinched in waists. Naturally embellishment rules with lots of sparkling sequins, intricate beading and delicate pleats bringing a touch of luxe to the range.

The stand out pieces for me are the emerald green sequinned dress with low cut back and the black pleated maxi. These dresses are due to hit stores from November with prices from as little as £19.99, so there’s no excuse not to add a little sprinkling of sparkle to your wardrobe this season!

Kate Moss’ latest collection for Topshop hits stores and online today. I was thrilled to discover the inspiration for the line came from some of the most fascinating cultures on the planet – the Orient.

The Christmas 2009 Collection is inspired by traditional Japanese and Chinese styles and techniques. Several of the pieces display prints of bamboo, lotus flowers and fireworks while others are oriental-style kimono shaped dresses in chiffons and silks.

The sequin is still very much present and there’s plenty of sparkle with a sequin maxi dress and a plunging sequin mini dress. The collection also includes Moss’ first nightwear range.
