Winning at the Races – Best Dressed Man

One of my first experiences of Ladies Day was a couple of years ago when I attended the Sligo races. On the day itself, one of the organisers, a quick-thinking women, spotted some very well turned-out gents and made an executive decision to pick a Best Dressed Man (BDM). As luck would have it, the winner revealed that every stitch he was wearing had been borrowed (with the exception of his underwear of course) and thrown together hastily that morning. The result was fun, effortless and stylish without a bowler hat or jodhpurs in sight.
