The Tommy Hilfiger store in Dundrum officially reopened its doors after a fresh restyle, now fully embodying the classic American cool atmosphere the Tommy Hilfiger brand is renowned for. The Dundrum store offers the full Men’s, Women’s, Hilfiger Denim, Tailored, Accessories and Footwear collections for AW 2011. Guests including models Jude Nabney and Craig Healy enjoyed Tommy Hilfiger emblazoned cupcakes and glasses of champagne while DJ Will Kinsella spun cool classics on the decks to celebrate the new look store. Harvey Nichols heralded the arrival of their new season collections at the Dublin store on September 15th with an exclusive fashion show in association with Landrover. Over 400 of Dublin’s VIPs and fashionistas alongside media, celebrities, industry and sporting stars descended on the fashion emporium to catch a glimpse of this seasons key looks. Guests included Amy Huberman, Caroline Harrington, Emily O’ Donnell, Kate Goodison, Joanne Byrne, Phillipa Buckely and Melina Skvortsova. The focus was very much on the beautiful collections, edgy styling and dramatic hair, taking inspiration from the Alexander McQueen Autumn Winter 2011 show. As well as showcasing collections from International designers including Alexander Wang, Vivienne Westwood and Michael Kors, there was plenty of Irish talent on show as the store introduced jewellery from Irish designer Joanne Hynes and hats from milliner Edel Ramberg, who has trained with Phillip Treacy.

Tommy Hilfiger are celebrating its new home within Arnotts with a women’s style event hosted by top Irish stylist and Off the Rails presenter Sonya Lennon on Saturday 24th September from 1pm. The area will feature the new Autumn collection including looks focusing on soft knits, vibrant tartan and elegant camel pieces, offering a full collection of both day and evening wear.

The style event will include fashion shows displaying Autumnal looks from the new collection as well as coveted one-to-one styling sessions with Sonya Lennon herself – one of which we have to give away to one lucky reader here on helpmystyle.ie…AND as if that weren’t enough the winner will also receive a Tommy Hilfiger goodie bag worth €150. Sweet!

A host of fashion lovers descended on lifestyle emporium, Seagreen in Monkstown, as store owner Sarah Gill and Seagreen muse Lorraine Keane welcomed guests to an exclusive preview morning of the new Autumn Winter Collections.

Guest enjoyed an array of tasty treats while models showed off the very latest fashions from designers including Issa, Alice by Alice Temperley, Surface to Air as well as Twenty Eight Twelve. Among those taking in the show were socialite Emily O Donnell, PR Astrid Brennan and Pamela Hughes.

Indulge your preppy side this May with the latest offerings from GANT. A mix of American East Coast casualness with a dollop of Italian elegance combines to create the ‘Mainline Collection’. All the GANT classics are represented – shirt dresses, sweaters, funky coloured polo tops and my current style favourite, chinos – in a vibrant colour palette with some nautical inspired twists. All in all a bold and rather glamorous collection, perfect for everyday casual chic.

Harvey Nichols Dundrum presented their spring summer offerings with a fabulous concept fashion show styled and produced by Paula Hughes on Thursday last.

The scene was set when invited guests were ushered, champagne in hand, to a warehouse-style venue hidden in the basement of the store. Ultra-violet lighting, a paint splattered run-way and Auguste-faced clowns (aptly named Hilarious Hank!) provided the setting for a multicoloured circus concept show. Designs by Sonia Rykiel, D&G, Vivienne Westwood, See by Chloe, and Alexander Mc Queen strutted down the catwalk. My favourites came in the form of Amanda Wakeley, Philip Lim and the queen of digital prints Mary Katrantzou.

Kudos to the team at Harvey Nic’s who didn’t ignore the men in the audience and presented some pretty slick menswear looks from Diesel, Dsquared2, D&G and the super cool ‘Elvis Jesus emerald Miami Vice’ t-shirt exclusive to Harvey Nichols.
