Yesterday I was invited to preview the Coast Autumn Winter 2010 collection. The ever lovely Ian Galvin (who’s currently gracing our screens onTV3 with Caprice in Style Wars) was on hand to talk through the collection. One word for it – STUNNING. I was genuinely impressed with what I saw.

I see a trend in old school glamour this season. Lace, beading, intricate designs and couture tailoring. I see a return to sleeves, shoulders, and straps, more so than ever before. The vibe is Grace Kelly; the mood is late 1940’s. I am thinking velvety lips, shimmery lids and expensive lashes. This is the time to indulge your inner goddess.

There’s no Heaton’s store near where I live so up until a couple of months back I was obviously of the treasures to be had. I now go out of my way every couple of weeks to check out what goodies they have in store.
