Actress Charlene McKenna’s star continues to rise and I’m delighted for her because she works hard, is grounded and seems like a nice, normal girl. The Monaghan native is very in-demand having just finished filming on the fourth series of RAW, as well as being drafted in to the new series of Channel 4 monster hit Misfits. Five? I’d need a thesis, um….sometimes classic, sometimes quirky, sometimes wrong, sometimes cool.

Pants. No, really that’d be disgusting.

My housemate. If she wasnt home? My jewellery.

Dress for yourself and your shape!

Jill Sanders and Uniqlo. Simple.

Two bike lights, credit cards, keys, Mac powder, broken foundation brush, raybans, black pen, oyster card (for the tube), sugar free polos, jo malone perfume, lip balm.

Who’s your style-crush?
Julie Christy, Kate Moss, Francoise Hardy, I have so many depending what day it is.

Worst and/or best shopping experience?
Worst, oxford street at Christmas, panic enducing crowds.
Best, finding exactly what you’ve been looking for, realising it’s perfect, then taking it to the till only to discover it’s reduced for no reason.

Best high street store or boutique?
Usuals suspects, Topshop, urban outfitters, you’ll find me lurking in all of them…

What is your travel essential?
A suitcase. Ok, ok filled with the basics, destination depending…good jeans, boots, etc

Fashion on the web?
Can’t shop online. Need to touch the clothes. I’ve been obsessed by fabric since a kid, ask my mum, she sows everything!

Worst fashion moment?
There’s no such thing. It’s just clothes, if you get it wrong, laugh and move on. Some people are saving lives everyday!

What era of style would you most like see return to fashion?
I love nearly every era and most of them always come back around, there’s parts of them that satisfy all the varying moods of fashion.

That I’m inately cool…haha…doesnt everyone?!
