Having bid a final farewell to Big Brother, we caught up with Irish BB star Noirin Kelly for a quick style fix. She talks Uggs, Christian Louboutin’s and reveals how she ended up with a big blue bum on a night out.
Describe your style in five words?
Feminine, trendy, confident, sexy, comfortable.
What’s your beauty essential?
Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream I use it all day long.
What item could you not live without?
I couldn’t live without my Uggs. I live in them during the winter they are so comfy. They are the first thing I put on me when i get home.
If your house was on fire and you’d only time to save one thing, what would it be?
My Christian Louboutin ankle boots which I haven’t yet worn! I bought them for my birthday which is in September so I cant wait to show them off.
What’s top of your fashion wish list at the moment?
I’m obsessed with sunglasses, I have about 15 pairs. At the moment I really want a pair of Gucci’s for my holidays but they are a bit pricey and my friends would probably kill me if I bought another pair.
Best style tip?
Wear your clothes with confidence.
What’s in your handbag right now?
My make up, blackberry, keys, wallet, hairbrush and sunglasses (of course!).
Who is you style crush?
Cheryl Cole. I just love her style. Her look is so versatile and she isn’t afraid of experimenting with new styles.
Worst and/or best shopping experience?
My worst experience was when I went to New York shopping. I ended up getting food poisoning and instead of shopping, I spent four days in bed.
Best high street store or boutique?
Oh god there is so many to choose from – I adore Lipsy, Topshop, All Saints, River Island and Zara.
Favourite place to shop?
London is by far my favorite. There are so many shops to choose from and its only an hour away from Dublin and flights are really cheap which means more money for shopping!
What is your travel essential?
It would definitely have to be my iPod. I don’t mind traveling for hours as long as I have it with me to listen to.
Fashion on the web?
I don’t usually shop on the web but I have bought a few things from Asos in the past. Its great because it has lots of variety and its fun just to look through all the different styles. I also sometimes like to have a look at style.com if I’m after something nice for an upcoming event.
Worst fashion moment?
The most recent was when I went to a friend’s party. I was wearing a white dress but I must of sat down on something blue and it was all over by bum. I ended up going around with a big blue bum for the rest of the night. It was so embarrassing and ruined my night.
What era of style would you most like see return to fashion?
I love the 1940′s because it was so glamorous, sexy and feminine.
Finally, what do you want your style to say about you?
That I’m confident, sexy, adventurous and fun!!
