I was really lucky to travel to Belfast to attend the MTV EMA’s the other week and got to go to the AMAZING VIP after party where we shared the dance floor with host Selena Gomez, her beau Justin Beiber (who btw looks no older than 12 in real life!) and the fabulous Katy Perry rocking a pop-rockabilly style quiff, amongst others. To say I had a blast, is a total understatement.

Swiss fashion brand Swatch are one of the main sponsors of the Awards and I was kindly gifted a Swatch Touch from their colourful new collection of digital watches – their first digital range in quite some years. I’ve not taken it off since and love how it injects a blast of colour to even the darkest of outfits and the amount of people who have commented on it is impressive!

The tech geek in me loves the big-screen LCD dials and the fact that the screen itself is touch-sensitive totally wins me over. You can sweep through the functions with ease using finger-taps and sideways scrolls, so no fiddling with clumsy dials. It also has a nearly neon backlight which is really handy when you wake up in the middle of the night with the fear that you’ve overslept for that breakfast meeting. Plus the digits are quite large set against the solid colour background and colour-matched plastic cases and silicone straps, quite a seamless design.

I got the turquoise which is perfect for me but it also comes in six different colour waves including camouflage, black, white, pink and purple. Available in Swatch Stores Grafton Street, Arnotts Department Store, Terminal 1 & 2 Dublin Airport. RRP €110
