Scarlett Johansson has been revealed as the face for Mango’s Autumn/Winter ’09 campaign. Mango say they chose Scarlett for “her extraordinary personality, which embodies the ideal of the urban, independent and cosmopolitan woman”. Scarlett takes over from Penélope Cruz, who has been the face and body of Mango for the last four seasons and follows in a great line of famous names to model for the Spanish clothing chain including Milla Jovovich, Lizzy Jagger, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Inés Sastre, Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington and Diane Kruger.
We think Scarlett looks hot in these shots which have a real punky edge to them.

In other news, Mango’s menswear line, HE Homini Emerito, has a new ambassador in British actor Max Irons (son of Irish actress Sinéad Cusack and Jeremy Irons). 23 year old Max has been making a name for himself in movies having starring in the film Dorian Gray, alongside the British actor Colin Firth. Last season Max featured in a Burberry campaign alongside Kate Moss. Check him out!
