The capital came to a standstill and the radio waves were rocked as Radio Nova 100, Dublin’s newest station, took to the airwaves for the first time.
Radio Nova CEO David Tighe launched the station as Guns 2 Roses took to the stage for the 400+ guests who packed Dublin’s Vicar Street. Tighe announced the first in a line up of exclusive interviews. Kicking off with controversial singing legend, Sinead O’Connor, who will join Barry Egan for an interview on her life; her times and her music.
Guests were invited to climb aboard a fleet of Harley Davidsons that were parked up in the venue for the launch, following their descent on the Capital earlier in the day. Rock chic was the order of the day and Zippo lighters were included in the guests’ goodie bags.
Guests included Presenters Pat Courtney, Marty Miller, Enda Murphy, Carol Dooley, Breffni Clack, Barry Egan and Pat James.
