Last weekend while chasing after my 15 month old nephew, who’s just learned to run and was enjoying the cobble lock streets of Temple Bar, I stumbled upon a cool new clothing shop called Public Beware.
Chatting with the owners, I discover the eponymous clothing range started out as a T-shirt only brand in London’s Brick Lane and has grown to become a bit of a cult fashion hit. In fact the Irish store is their first overseas venture and is Irish owned and run.
The collection itself uses fabrics that have quite a hi-tech look and include lots of interesting unique prints and quirky designs. There’s a rather eclectic mix of pieces that are surprisingly affordable! In keeping with the London stores reasonable sterling price tags, the Dublin based store will be offering the equivalent in euro. Pop in, have a nosey and if anything just have a chat with the very welcoming staff!
