Have you seen her? The newest beauty to join Tom Ford’s line up of sensual fragrances. Since receiving this, I have been pulling it out for only the most precious of occasions. Something about it feels so special. I don’t know whether it is the heavy dark brown apothecary style bottle or the casually elegant scent. To me it epitomises the modern fragrance wearer. Informed, involved and down right picky. I am a self-confessed perfume snob. I wont wear anything overly commercial and always pride myself on wearing unusual scents. Therefore I normally have to combine two. However with the launch of Azure Lime this is no longer necessary.

This scent feels special and modern and decadent. Something I feel we don’t see enough of in the perfume department these days. The great thing about it is that it works so well for both sexes because of the balance of the fragrance combinations. It was inspired by the easy style and relaxed glamour of Mustique it opens with the lush aroma of Limes combined with Valencia Orange, Lemon, Bergamot and wilder ingredients such as mint and black basil. It subtly evolves in to jasmine, neroli and violet and slowly dries down to the headier yet sensual notes of musk and patchouli, finishing up with oakwood and sea moss, which add a charming and unexpected twist.

While I am a massive Tom Ford fan….I just want to live in a world created by him, I must say that I would be as impressed by this fragrance had it come from any other producer. This scent is for those that like to subtly take a stand and get noticed. It’s not bold or brash or loud. It’s like a Chanel 2.55 bag, beautiful, elegant, and downright expensive but an investment and something that never fails to get you noticed. Buy it. It will change your life!
