A host of well-known faces from the Irish fashion scene were among the many guests who were treated to an extravagant party in the Powerscourt Centre last Thursday, as the inaugural Dublin Festival of Fashion was launched. The festival is aimed at celebrating the wonderful range of fashion available in Dublin City Centre, and where better to launch the weekend than the beautiful surroundings of the Powerscourt Centre.

The historic Georgian building played host to a stunning fashion show, showcasing the Autumn/ Winter collections from stores such as Covet, Bow, the Design Centre and bridal boutiques Ciara and Town Bride – all exclusive to the Powerscourt Centre and committed to supporting Irish designers.

Top stylist Aisling Farinella put together the looks that wowed the guests and followed a futuristic look book as a theme. MC for the glam event was Xpose’s Karen Koster. Guests were treated to delicious food from all corners of the earth as all the eateries in the centre catered the event. New kids on the block, The Pepperpot handed out mouth- watering bites, while the Cupcake Stand satisfied any sweet cravings with their artisan cupcakes. Lambrini provided the wine on the night and guests left the event on full stomachs with fab goody bags!
