Irish couturier Peter O’Brien delighted VIP guests and media at a fashion show at Arnotts last night as he unveiled his second Peter O’Brien collection for the Irish department store.
Renowned for his simple, elegant designs and his love of fine tailoring, this collection definitely has a much edgier feel than it’s predecessor. Created using high quality and luxurious fabrics including wool, cashmere, chiffon, satin and lace, it’s a capsule of quite timeless pieces for any women who loves style. The full collection comprises of 26 pieces in a colour palette of Peter’s signature black and navy, interspersed with pale taupe. Coats this season have an androgynous feel and trousers are slightly cropped cigarette pants. Stand out pieces for me are the tailored poplin shirt and wrap jersey dress.
The full collection goes on sale in store today (12th October). Prices range from €105 for fine gauge merino wool knitwear, from €185 for silk blouses, with dresses from €265 and coats from €400.

Black wrap dress €275

Oversized coat with lace detail €450
