Hey there lovely readers, so I just wanted to give you a quick heads up on some exciting news. Over the past couple of months (since the end of June to be precise) I’ve been traveling the length and breath of the UK, presenting a new series alongside BBC stalwart, the lovely Angellica Bell.

Called Project Parent, it’s a brand new warm and humorous show that puts kids in control and allows them to give their single parent’s social life a kick start. With the expert guidance of myself, the children in this 13-part series take charge of their parent’s wardrobe, give them a makeover and take them on a shopping trip to find a glamorous new look for a big reveal in front of family and friends. Aided by Angellica, the children interrogate three would-be suitors from the Project Parent satellite surveillance van to choose the right person for mum or dad to go on a fun night out.

The series kicks off this coming week, with the first show going out this Tuesday 18th Jan at 17.45 on CBBC and it’s repeated on BBC2 on Saturday mornings at 8.30am. Please watch (or Sky Plus it!), I’m hopeful you’ll enjoy it!
