Last night I went to the Irish Premiere of Transformers (red carpet pics here) and while it was a great movie, the one image that hasn’t left my head is that of it’s new leading lady – the STUNNING Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

English girl Rosie takes over the female lead from Megane Fox (who apparently got dropped by director Michael Bay for getting too big for her boots) and stars alongside Shia LaBeouf.

The 24 year old has come a long way since her Victoria’s Secret modelling days in 2006. Until 2008 the model remained relatively unknown until she was snapped up by British Vogue for her first front cover shot. From there she launched into model superstardom, appearing as the face of Karen Millen’s S/S 09 campaign, modelling for Godiva and Miss Sixty and being crowned as a Victoria’s Secret Angel in late 2009.

To promote her acting debut, Rosie has been making appearances around the globe in some stunning numbers. On Sunday, she arrived at the UK Premiere of Transformers: Dark Of The Moon in London in a midnight blue Burberry gown.

If ever there was truth in the saying she could wear a black bag and still look gorgeous, it’s Rosie. Genetically gifted is not even close. Check out those lips!
