Marks & Spencer unveiled their 2011 Summer Collections on Thursday evening (2nd June) with a delicious BBQ featuring live food stations from key M&S Irish suppliers and a stunning showcase of M&S alfresco homeware.
Interiors stylist, Claire Wyse set the scene for the event, focussing on M&S’ key alfresco homeware looks, featuring lots of muted tones and gorgeous flowers and trees to create a garden party feel.
Guests were treated to cocktails and fresh sushi upon arrival which were created on the spot using key ingredients from M&S Irish suppliers. All produce on the night of the BBQ was provided by Irish producers including Keelings (Fruit), Avondale (Salads), Dunn’s (smoked salmon), Linden Foods and Moy Park (beef, pork & chicken), Finnebrogue (sausages), Lir (chocolate) and Horgans and Wexford Creamery (cheese) and expertly prepared by the M&S Grafton St Restaurant team headed by executive chef Steven MaGuire.
Alan Hughes, Sinead Desmond, Sybil Mulcahy, Alan Cantwell and Debbie O’Donnell were all enjoying the food and soaking up the chilled out music provided by DJ Mo Kelly. (Pictured above Sinead Desmond and Carmel Breheny)
