If you’re interested in updating your work wear and the perfect chance to get advice from a master tailor about cuts and shapes then here’s a couple of dates for your diary. The Men’s Department at Arnotts are hosting a range of men’s tailoring events from the end of September through October.
This month of men’s tailoring kicks off with the first event on the 30th September, from 6-8pm and will be hosted by Simon Carter, known as the ‘King of Cufflinks’. Simon cornered the cufflink market through iconic designs like the ‘Aspirin’ cufflink, which stored tablets within the actual cufflink. Simon is celebrating 25 years in business this year and his accessories line includes watches, cufflinks, ties, luggage, small leather goods and pens. In early 2002 he introduced a menswear line which is a favourite of celebrities like Robert Downey Jr. and Jonathan Ross.
The next event on 7th October, from 6-8pm, will be hosted by Irish designer Paul Costello, whose 6 sons were a big hit for his suits at London Fashion Week this year. So whether it’s the perfect suit or a classic tailored piece to add to your wardrobe, this highly acclaimed designer is sure to help!
Magee host the next event on the 14th October, from 6-8pm where a master tailor will be offering a Personal Tailored suit for €450 with a free pair of trousers (from selected cloths) and a Personal Tailored Jacket for €199.
