Over the weekend I popped my head into the Pepe London store on Dublin’s Exchequer street. It’s been a while since I’ve been in and I always find it’s one of those stores where I either want to buy the entire contents of the shop (yes, both men & womenswear!) or I leave yearning for something else completely.

On this occasion I was more taken by their new campaign for AW09 which sees the introduction of Madonna’s current love interest Jesus Luz (it’s very clear what she see’s in him, check out more of luscious Luz below!). The shots follow a group of young city bohemians in an autumnal setting – very eye catching indeed.

Photographed by Tom Munro (a graduate of New York’s Parsons School – as featured on Project Runway), Tom has shoot covers for Vogue, Elle and Harpers Bazaar and a multitude of high profile celebs including Beyonce, Victoria Beckham, Scarlett Johansson and Madonna herself.

Jesus Luz, along with a bunch of other models, feature in the campaign which is inspired by the era of new wave punk. There’s a strong emphasis on the ‘stitch and repair’ and ‘vintage denim’ looks which can be seen through the AW09 jeans collection.
