The No Name bar on Fade Street, Dublin, was the place to be this week as House of Fraser, Dundrum launched the eagerly anticipated return of fashion label BIBA.
Taking inspiration from the original Biba themes of 1930’s Hollywood glamour, the show launched with stunning outfits from the exclusively launched collection from Biba. Chloe Arnold looked stunning in a show stopping backless velvet column dress (see below). Fine detailing and fabrications of velvet, brocade and lurex in signature colours of gold, black and bronze sashayed down the catwalk.
Guests lapping up the atmosphere and enjoying the show included Bairbre Power, stylists Aisling Farinella and Angela Scanlan and models Sarah Morrissey and Noami Cullen.
House of Fraser will also host an Autumn/Winter launch event this Thursday the 9th of September from 6pm-9pm, and the event is open to everyone. The new season ranges and the much anticipated newly launched Biba collections will be showcased with fashion shows at 6.30 pm & 7.30 pm (Ladieswear, Level 2). RTE’s “Off the rails” presenters Sonya Lennon and Brendan Courtney will also be in store on the evening. Artist Graham Knuttel will also attend the launch event and sign pieces from his new collection “Menu” for Tipperary Crystal.
