Kate Middleton’s Red Carpet Look at The War Horse Premiere

Happy Birthday Kate Middelton! Kate who celebrates turning 30 today (we’re both Capricorns, it’s my birthday on Thursday!) kick started the celebrations a day early when she took to the red carpet at London’s Leicester Square.

Arriving at the premiere of ‘War Horse’, the latest film from director Steven Spielberg, Kate looked every inch the polished princess wearing an elegant floor-length number. The stunning V-neck, black lace dress with sleeves is by one of her favourite British designers Alice Temperley. It’s very reminiscent of the Roksanda Ilincic long black dress at Debenhams.

Slight aside but why on earth is a princess turning up at a movie premiere? Well it turns out the event was held in aid of The Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry. Any excuse

I love this look, but I think Kate’s ensemble would have been even more elegant had the look of included some element of colour alike Rosdanda Illincic’s plum belt and heels!
