Asos have taken inspiring from Williamsburg for their latest menswear collection. The super cool Brooklyn neighbourhood famed for being home to New York’s creative community and most stylish men and women, is a mash-up of effortless thrift-store meets Ivy-League.
Key pieces that define the look include the versatile Varsity jacket (£45). The more embroidered logos the better while contrast sleeves (particularly in leather) will set yours apart. The second item you’ll need is a graphic tee – add a dash of rock’n’roll to an otherwise preppy theme. And of course a rucksack (£35). Look out for bags made from canvas, leather or nylon, with zips, buckles and straps fastening a top flap for equal measures geek and chic.
