‘Beautiful’, ‘high-fashion’, ‘glamorous’ are just some of the words we would use to describe Brown Sugar’s stunning Autumn/Winter photo campaign. The inspiration for this year’s campaign was lace and leather with a bondage-esque edge inspired by catwalk trends says Brown Sugar’s Creative Director Christian Shannon. “We wanted to keep the beauty of previous Brown Sugar shoots, but take it to another level, which I think we achieved. With this shoot you can see how we embraced a play on hard and soft within the images.”

Polished perfected curls are no longer on the menu. This season’s curls are all about fly-away fabulous and voluminous styles, which is one of the styles they shot on the day. Naturally here at HMS towers wanted to know how you to recreate this gorgeous look at home…here’s your 7 step guide to fabulous, luscious locks:

1. Start by prepping the hair with ‘Tecni Art Pli’ which is a heat activating spray perfect for creating curls

2. We then worked L’Oréal ‘hot style constructor’ into the hair to texturise the hair without fixing.

3. Create the curls by using a wand styler.

4. Twist each section of the hair as you wrap it.

5. Ensure each section is wrapped in the same direction.

6. Brush out the curls with a soft paddle brush to create voluminous waves.

7. To finish apply L’Oréal Infinium hairspray and Tecni Art Crystal Gloss to give the hair a delicate and ultra shiny finish.

Et voila, perfect party hair.
