Despite the drop in temperatures over the past few days, the evenings are stretching and hopeful signs of spring are on the way – in fact I caught a glimpse of my first crocus today in Stephens Green.

It’s always great to see this change being reflected on the highstreet and this week A|wear showcased their new collections for spring summer 10 which didn’t fail to impress.

Featuring plenty of cute frills, pretty pastels, easy to wear, relaxed separates with a feminine touch as well as a splattering of denim and tropical neon prints perfect for any beach party (okay this may be a couple of months away but these are definitely the first ‘green shoots’!).

Overall the collection hits the right note for any savvy, price conscious shopper with dresses starting from €30, tee’s from €8 and blouses from €25. If that’s not enough, A|wear fans will be delighted to hear the introduction of GOSH cosmetics now available in 21 of their stores.
