In all fairness, it doesn’t take much to make our favourite Desperate Housewife, Eva Longoria, look fantastic. Her recent style suggests she’s been sharing fashion tips with new best friend, and fellow LA resident, Victoria Beckham.
She recently arrived at a charity event wearing this fitted white dress with high neckline – very Mrs B inspired. I really like the look and I think it works really well for Eva, giving her a very sophisticated air. The simple monochrome style is refreshing after a summer of garish colours. We saw lots of layering up in soft white and cream for winter on the catwalks of Chanel, Gucci & Hermes. Dressing head-to-toe in a single color like this is the ultimate in confident style.
If you fancy bringing some eye-catching white monochrome into your wardrobe, now’s a good time as we’re quite literally spoiled for choice on the highstreet. Some of my favourite looks come from Reiss and French Connection:
1) The Pavlova Delux Short Sleeve Dress, £110, from French Connection is my favourite for a smart, structured look. Very Mouret-inspired this dress would look super smart in the office and super sexy for a night out depending on how you accessorize.
2) The ivory ruffle dress, €60, from Awear with black bow to accentuate the waist is the perfect little party number.
3) The Lexia rouched dress, €225, from Reiss is not for every figure but if you’re slender enough to pull it off, what are you waiting for!
4) The cute A-line dress with bow detail around the neckline, €49 from River Island, would look great with some knee-high socks and killer heels for a 60′s look.
Lastly, these black suede semi-wedge shoes €75 from River Island, will have you looking and feeling fab!
