Drew Barrymore recently did the rounds on this side of the Atlantic promoting her latest movie. Whilst I’ve no idea what the movie’s about, Drew certainly managed to blaze a trail in the style stakes, wearing all sorts of fabulous outfits for appearances on the likes of Alan Carr’s Chatty Man to partying on the festival circuit.
Drew’s former wild child style has definitely developed and matured in recent years and here at HelpMyStyle.ie we likey a lot! This pic is one of our favourite looks – Drew dressed in a gorgeous sequined top, tux-style tapered pants and vertigo-inducing heels. Quite a look that’s equal parts wholesome and oh so glam!
The perfect alternative to a dress or skirt, it’s easy to recreate on a budget. Most likely you’ll already have a similar pair of trousers but if not, check out these ones from Next. They are far less detailed than the ones Drew is wearing so you can be a bit more adventurous on the heels – these heels from M&S have some nice sequin detailing on them and will work nicely. The long sleeved top has potential to look a little granny but the sequins really make it work. Finish off the look a la Drew with some earrings and free flowing locks for relaxed take on glamorous with a capital G!
