Balenciaga’s new AW campaign came out yesterday and it couldn’t have been timed any better given where they seem to have taken inspiration – Harry Potter & Hogwarts school to be precise! The images are awesome. As for the clothes, they’ve taken colour blocking to a whole new level with an autumnal twist with lots of cape-like jackets using modern fabrics and roped-leather vests and jackets, as well as floral skirts in exotic prints. I for one love, love, love this collection!

On the topic of Harry Potter, the last ever movie ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2′ has it’s world premiere this evening. I was down at Trafalgar Square yesterday and already thousands of people from all over the globe were camped out for their chance to spot the cast at this evenings event which begins at Trafalgar before moving up to Leicester Square. Harry Potter mania has well and truly arrived!
